At Shattered Glass we have an extensive range of audio products that allow us to accommodate any event from conferences to large scale outdoor events upward of thirty thousand people. This is achieved by using technology from self powered active speakers to the latest in Line Array Technology from the most specified brand in professional audio: JBL Professional.

Except for the workhorse JBL Eon 15 G2 we use only the Tour Class range from JBL’s extensive stable of world class products: JBL Array Series; the formidable HLA System and a large selection of VERTEC VT 4888 12-inch, VT 4887 8-inch and VT 4880 dual 18-inch Line Array Speaker Systems. These systems range from 5kW up to a mind numbing 145kW of audio splendour. All loudspeaker systems have been designed to be rigged to provide optimal coverage and ease of installation.

Amplification is provided by Crown Audio and all of the amplifiers are computer controlled and monitored using Crown’s IQ Systems Network Technology. HLA and Array series loudspeakers are powered by Crown MacroTech amps and the VERTEC System is powered by Crown’s latest in amplifier technology: the I-Tech Series. We also have the ability to seamlessly integrate the entire HLA/VERTEC/Array Series into one system using TCP/IP Technology to perfectly suit any application. With IQ Control we can provide state-of-the-art integration and performance.

DBX DriveRacks (48 Series) are utilised for all Loudspeaker Management requirements.
Monitoring is provided by JBL SR712M Wedge Monitors. These are bi-amplified and processed by DBX Driverack 481’s with the DBX 480R remote providing the interface to the monitor engineer.

Our front of house and monitor consoles include SoundCraft M-Series, Live8, SoundCraft Digital and MH Series Mixers. Passive and Active BSS splitting are utilised for larger events. Other outboard processing equipment includes DBX compressors, Symetrix Gates and Equalizers as well as Lexicon and Yamaha effects units.
Playback and recording equipment is Tascam Professional.

Microphones used by Shattered Glass include Shure’s range of KSM Studio, BETA and SM microphones. We have a large stock of wireless UHF mics complete with Active RF Distribution. Shure’s state-of-the-art Electronic Workbench networking interface and control unit software is used on larger events.
