Coca-Cola Launch

Coca-Cola has over the years had many branding success stories; Enjoy Coke, Coke – The Real Thing and Always Coca-Cola to name a few. After due consideration and an intensive look at the Coca-Cola brand; they decided to consolidate Coke as the number one brand in the world and came up with an amazing new concept.

“Welcome to the Coke Side of Life” is the new international coke brand; developed by Coca-Cola’s marketing team from around the world to create an all encompassing slogan and marketing strategy. This strategy is aimed at unifying all Coke sponsorships such as Soccer and Music under one instantly recognisable branding symbol; the trademark Coke Bottle.

The South African launch was fittingly held at the Coca-Cola Dome and included a stunning Audio/Visual presentation produced by The Missing Link and girls in mini-skirts on roller-skates ushering guests to their seats.

Not only did Shattered Glass ensure maximum impact by providing the audio requirement in the form of the JBL Vertec Linear Array system but also custom built a stage with a giant colour changing coke bottle in the centre. This lighting design was further accented using a variety of washes, spots and gobos. Mood panelling and lighting were expertly designed and controlled by Richard Horwell and Nuno de Mesquita using the Martin Maxxys and E-Cue controllers.
