Shattered Glass was established as a Mobile Disco Company is 1985 and in 1995 Shattered Glass AV & Staging was formed.  Shattered Glass Discos is the largest mobile disco company in South Africa and Shattered Glass AV & Staging has become a highly regarded technical event staging company, being awarded coveted contracts and fast gaining market share in the audio visual, sound and lighting industry.  Shattered Glass AV & Staging is the supplier of choice for South Africa’s top event managers, planner and producers and because of our ability to implement cutting edge techniques we bring never-seen before elements into the most spectacular events imaginable.

AT THE HELM

The 6 Directors of Shattered Glass Pty (Ltd) are entrepreneurs, each with a particular strength, working together as a Team for the benefit of Shattered Glass (Pty) Ltd, our employees and clients.  The Directors form a very hands on Management Team and are very involved in all aspects of the day to day running of the business.

Mick Landi is the Managing Director and has a Diploma in Electrical Engineering.  Karen Landi, with a Diploma in Public Relations, heads up the BEE, Seta and HR Division.

Mick Landi started the company in 1985 and Karen joined him in 1990, both worked in a part time capacity until 1996 and 1995 respectively when they took up the challenge of transforming a part time hobby into a full time business.

After graduating with a Diploma in PC Engineering in 1997, Adriano Landi joined Shattered Glass in 1998.  Adriano holds the position of Logistics Director.

Nici Bailes joined the team in 2005.  Nici has a Diploma in Film and Theatre together with a Diploma in Business Management.  Nici is the Group Marketing Director.

Richard Horwell has been with Shattered Glass since 2001 and after heading up the lighting dept for five years, was appointed as a Technical Director. 

Alex Sanfilippo joined Shattered Glass in 2001. Alex has a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and a Diploma in Sound Engineering and is a non executive Director.
